FIREMANE'S ART
In addition to being an amatuer writer, I also
sculpt and draw (though I sometimes wonder if there's
anyone in the fandom who DOESN'T draw). I account
myself a fairly good sculpter, but the drawing needs
work. If you see anything you like, let me know. If you
can think of anything you'd like to see, let me know that,
too.
Starrseeker and I had a table at MFM this year, selling T-shirts, plushies, and my sculptures. By the end of the Furmeet, all we had left were some plushies and Becky. I'll have to work hard to come up with more in time for next year. If anyone has any ideas of what would be really cool, email me and let me know! I'll also be putting up pictures of the centaur I made, which was also sold at the Furmeet.

I sculpted this as a Christmas present,
and it's the first thing I actually liked when I got done with
it (well, that's not entirely true... there was one prior, but
it was supposed to be feline and ended up looking like a Boxer.
I chalk it up as a learning experience). These are fairly
easy to do, since all they need are heads and arms, and the rest
is sewing and presentation. Then again, getting the ears right
was difficult.
This was another present, and was done similar to the Cocker Spaniel angel. A lot of the ones I end up liking were last minute rushes to complete... I finished this during an overnight stop on the way home for Christmas, and let the paint dry while I was driving. The marble I used for the dragon's staff was pretty neat. I have about a hundred more, since they came in a large bag. One of these days, I'll either have to make more staff-wielding mages or take up playing marbles.
This was my mate's sculpture. Both this and "Becky" were put up for auction at the MFM'99 dealer's den. "Tiger Mage" was bought, but for some reason "Becky" didn't even get a bid. I chalked it up to her outfit, which needed work, and the fact that I didn't give her noticable cleavage. However, when I outfitted her again (with breasts), she *still* didn't get taken, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Here's the pictures of my squirrel that I've been promising to put up, as well as another finished project, the zebra/unicorn.
