From the depths of North Brisbane's suburbia in which
they have risen n' choose to dwell come forth the four piece band known
as 'The Confederacy,' to see their talents recognised in a tough n' challenging
industry.
The Confederacy's current line up formed in early 2004
though the bands presence has impacted many for quite some time. The bands
first studio recording 'Blasphemy,' has been widely distributed across
the homelands of Brisbane with some copies escaping to other parts of
the world. Recorded on the 28/07/02 and masteredon the 29/07/02 at Vibrafeel
Studios 'Blasphemy,' was acclaimed for it's traditional metal style and
is broadcast nationally over community radio. 'Sea Of Agony,' the second
studio release demonstrates a heavier reflection of the bands writing
ability. Recorded on the 14 & 15/07/03 and mastered on the 16/07/03

nation and the globe. Three other raw home recordings have been put out
by the band from their early days 'Show Us Ya Tits,' 'Demo 1#,' &

they performed at the 1998 Caboolture Square Stomp'n attracting many the
eager crowd goer. The Confederacy showcased their early talents in front
of the forefathers of the Rapid Festival at the Freaky Arts Festival 99.
The bands powerful 80s metal style makes them unique amongst
the strong local scene. The talents of Rhett (vocals, lead/rythm guitar),
Jimmy (bass), Dan (drums), and Mark (rythm/lead guitar), combine a diverse
and creative driven force expressing their soul and passion of music.
Truely an independent band success is within their grasp.
Influenced by such artist as 'Megadeth,' 'Metallica,'
'Alice In Chains,' 'Faith No More,' 'Soundgarden,' 'Pantera,' 'Ozzy Osbourne,'
