Welcome to Caribbean Mexico Travel Tips, a website devoted to traveling to Cancun and Merida in Mexico.  

The majority of the information here is about Yucatan, a beautiful state outside of the tourist busy resort site of Quintana Roo.  However, for the sake of interest, Cancun and area have been included on this site.  

Cancun is beautiful and lots of fun, but highly "Americanized".  You will never run out of things to do, but the only thing Mexican you will find here is the citizens and a few restaurants.   If you are interested in seeing the "true" Mexico, then the Yucatecan area of this site will definitely be of interest.  

Please note -- when looking at hotels, bus lines and prices, I no longer have current accurate information on the prices of most of these services.  Please contact the hotels and bus lines for more information.  Please don't email me asking about which hotels are good or how much they cost, I'm afraid that I cannot help you -- but check out my link section to find the help you need!
