Patalone Recipe of the Month


JUNE 1999 RECIPE: PATALONE CLAM CASSEROLE

Ingredients:
10 Patalone clams
5 cups of pasta (macaroni, ziti, etc.)
1 cup sliced mushrooms
2 tomatoes
5 tablespoons of mayo
8 oz. Patalone special sauce #3
1 teaspoon Patalone spices

First, steam approximately 10 Patalone clams. Deshell. Boil 5 cups of pasta for 12 minutes. Slice mushrooms into small chunks. Slice tomatoes into small chunks. Mix pasta, clams, mushrooms, tomatoes, 5 tablespoons of mayo, 8 ounces of Patalone special sauce #3, and 1 teaspoon Patalone spices together. Place mixed contents into a a large casserole dish.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake casserole for 20 minutes. Allow to cool for 15 minutes before serving.

Serves 4 people.
