P2K: PILLOW TALK FOR DA 2000

After a breath-taking stint on the sexy soap Sunset Beach, Arther J. Pillow who played Caitlin's "Baybee" seemed to disapear into thin air, but little did you know that was the beginning of a fabulous career he launched which is continuing to skyrocket till this very day. After leaving the soap, Pillow had several appearances in a Bounty commercial and was rumored to be on a Listerine commercial, but it turned out to be his evil twin Dexter J. Pillow. Following the commercial appearances, Pillow teamed up with Tickle Me Elmo, Bouncing Tigger, and the elusive Furby Doll and formed their own pop-mega boy band, The Soft-Stuffed Toys who's debut album Inanimate Objects plunged into top 40 and launched a world tour which was so successful in Uruguay, the band made tons of money and then retired from show business. But Pillow was still destined for fame, continuing to starve for attention in the entertainment field, he then continued to have small roles in film and television. Most recently he appeared in Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Third Watch (oppisite former co-star Eddie Cibrian, of Sunset Beach,) and he can now be seen in the film The Next Best Thing oppisite Madonna. He is currently auditioning for a role on Passions and rumor has it he will appear in the series finale of Beverly Hills 90210.

I was recently browing through an old issue of The National Enquirer, Jan 98, and I noticed they had an article about you and how you had been a troublemaker behind the set of Sunset Beach, and they were considering firing you, is that true?

REPLY: Pillow, 3/5/00

Well... I was sort of a practical joker behind the set, and I am almost 100% sure that they were not going to fire me for my pranks... But you've got to keep in mind, my character was only scheduled to be on the show for 9 months, and for my last month they used a stunt double, that car crash scene was intense, there was no way I'd agree to go along with that.... But working on Beach was the best time of my life, I got to work with wonderful co-stars such as Vanessa, Lesley, and Eddie whom I later worked with on the set of Third Watch. The two of us reuniting was a big success, after the first day of shooting for the fire and rescue series, the two of us went out for a drank to celebrate old times, lets just say we had a little too much to drink and ended up getting thrown outta the bar, but it was all in good fun...
