Donnsters

The Donnsters is a chat group formed nearly two years ago by Lora Showalter and Christine Booth for Donny Osmond fans. Since then, the Donnsters have grown tremendously. There are around 30 "Donnsters" that I have chatted with to this day, and we meet new people all the time! It is a very fun group. We don't always talk about Donny, we talk about other Osmonds as well! And we like to catch up with eachother, chat about what is going on the world, and all sorts of things. I guess you could say we are a very relaxed and fun chatroom. We used to meet every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday night at 8:00 pm on WBS (a non-Java based chatroom) in a room appropriately called Donnsters, but now the schedules aren't so static. We also have a newsletter that we put out for times a year. Our first issue came out this past fall and we are anticipating a winter issue as well. Lora Showalter thought of this creative idea! She is also the editor of our newsletter, and does a fantastic job! The newsletter includes articles about the Osmond Family, Donnsters' trips to see the Osmonds, games, contests, and more.
