Some words of regrets:

As all of you
faithful visitors of this page may have discovered already, I haven’t been
updating this page for a long time. Almost two years already, there are
several reasons for that. First: there
was a period (summer 1998-summer 1999) that TVB-serials were under average
quality, I was so disillusioned that my TV-addiction was cured and I haven’t
watched TVB or other serials with my usual enthusiasm anymore. The enthusiasm
that was my motivation to write all those reviews. Second: I lost
a very dear internet-friend. It isn’t like she’s dead or something, but we
just lost contact and couldn’t have re-establish it again. On the same period
as the black TVB-ages. This incident cured my need to sit in front of my
computers for two hours a day. Third: there
were some major changes in my life. Of course study has grown much more
demanding, but another factor of change was (a very positive one BTW) that I
have a girlfriend and she has become one of my greatest hobby now. TVB,
internet, they all have to make way for her Anyway, what I have to say is. I don’t think I’ll
continue running this page anymore. I won’t delete it though, it took me
months to build it and there were some happy memories in it, so I’ll just let
it be online for those who are still interested in it. I am actually really proud of this page. I am sure
that I was the first one who made a page about TVB-reviews. This has inspired
a lot of other people, and there are a lot of HK-tv reviews-page on the net
now. I don’t dare to say that I am the one who is responsible for this bloom,
but I’m sure I might be the reason for some of them. That is also the reason why I can retire with no
regrets, because although my dream: building a huge database with reviews of
all HK-tv-series, has never came true. There are still lotsa good resources
online now. Some that I find very good are: If somewhere in time, I want to
write reviews again. I’ll let them publish it, if they want them… For now, good bye…
