The series, unlike Star Trek, has a set timeframe. JMS has
created the show to arc within a period of 5 years. After that period,
2 movies, prequels, are in the works. The first movie will deal with the
Earth-Minbari War, which occured about 10 years before the building of
Babylon5 in 2258. The show, however, may end earlier, partially because
the "network" supporting B5, PTEN (Prime Time Entertainment
Network) has been terminated. Most of the shows, like Time
Trax, of PTEN, a part of Warner Brothers, have failed. So, B5
may end next year instead, JMS has prepared and the show will end with
a complete ending.

Star
Wars: The Special Edition is out across the nation! This twenty
year old "space opera" trilogy has changed the nature of the
movie industry and has greatly raised the standards by which other science
fiction movies are judged. 
Star
Wars was released on Jan. 31 in the USA; The Empire Strikes Back strikes
on Feb. 21. I am not sure when Return of The Jedi is being featured, but
it is prob. a month later. Go to Brian's

sites. Paramount Pictures, owned by Viacom, is trying to shut down the
sites of fans, because it wants to end competition with its own site. (The
site, surprise, surprise, costs
money.) If you feel that
is wrong, please voice your opinon to Viacom. Also, if you are a Webmaster,
please link to these sites that are helping to protest against Web hegemony
by corporations. Let me just state, I still love Star Trek, but greed anywhere
should be stamped out. (That means you, M$!)
