I first discovered Jim and the Doors when I was ten years old to the dismay of my parents but I am still as devoted now as I have ever been and I am 23 now. The songs, the poems and the myths say so much to me and I am devasted still that Jim didn't grow

I have just finished reading "no one here gets out alive" by Danny Sugarman and "Riders on the storm" by John Densmore- no-one can truly fathom what the "other" Doors went through with Jim- he was an asshole but an amazing one at that, I adore him and his

I think Jim Morrison was the most poetic soul that ever lived. I feel like his words were so clear as to the true nature of the mind. I have read a lot of books on his life. Although, I do not like Riders on the Storm by John Densmore. I sense he was
