Chumba-Thumping
Parody of "Tubthumping" by Chumbawamba

Intro: (guy with deep voice talking)
This song is so annoying
It keeps me banging, my head
Against the wall
Welcome back to Chumba-Thumping

We'll be singing
When they ain't singing
So please stop singing

Chorus:
They suck, no doubt
But I hear them again
This band's really getting me down
Their tunes suck crap
Their lyric's even worse
Chumbawamba, I wish they drown
(x2)

Wasting their days away
Wasting their nights away

When they wake up they drink
When they work they drink
When they sleep they drink
When they sing they drink
Wrecking our brains with the lyrics that they write
Waiting for their Danny boy every night

Oh hear no more
Play no more
Sing no more . . .

Chorus 2x

Wasting their days away
Wasting their nights away

When they wake up they drink
When they work they drink
When they sleep they drink
When they sing they drink
Wrecking our brains with the lyrics that they write
Waiting for their Danny boy every night

Oh stay away
From my neighbours . . .

Chorus 2x, again . . .

(Sax solo)

Chorus again, repeat until satisfied

Penspinner's notes

I have to say that I was inspired to do this song by Josh L., my friend with a really wierd taste of music. (Yep Josh, you guessed it; I made this page specifically for you :P ) Admittedly, the drums for this song is pretty good, but the lyrics . . . well, see for yourself. After realizing that the lyrics talks about the ramblings of a drunk and him calling for "Danny boy", I was bent on doing something nasty about it. After eventually stumbling across the Parody Central website and digging up their parody for "Tubthumping" (It was only about the radio station overplaying every single song, making them sound really annoying; being a Chumba-hater I obviously wasn't satisfied) I got a few scratchy ideas and began jotting them down, and soon "Chumba-Thumping" was born.
