Madness!!

This web site is dedicated to the best damn rock

band in the world, Metallica. The band members are who plays rhythm guitar and vocals,  who plays drums, who plays bass, andwho plays lead guitar. I have seen them live and they rock!  They

released their first album, Kill em' All in 1983,  Ride the Lightning followed in

1984, Master of Puppets was released in 1986, Garage Days Revisited, a sorta

throw back, in 1987, ... And Justice for All in 1988, Metallica in 1991, Load in

1996, and Reload in 1997. Load and Reload were supposed to be a double CD

set but they were split up and released separately because Metallica felt it

would be to much at one time. In late 1998

Garage Inc. was released, it was a double cd set. The 1st disc

having the new cover songs they recorded, and the 2nd disc

having the cover songs from the orginal Garage days revisted,

and garage days re-revisted. This release marked the return of

the heavier sound. We will see in the future if the heavier

sound will stay...

My favorite album is still Master of Puppets, and my favorite song is still "one",

email me your favorites, or any comments, at metmad@metallicafan.com and tell me what u think. Here are

the

covers for all of there albums except for garage

inc, which will b coming soon:

Here are a couple little facts about some of their covers: Kill em' all was

originally titled "Metal up Your Ass", but none of the record labels liked this

name, so it had to be changed, Kill em' all came from Metallica's feelings

toward the record labels that didn't approve of the original name. Also, I never

knew what was on the cover of load, i had just assumed it was lava or

something. Man was I off, it is actually cow blood mixed with the artists sperm.

Just think about that the next time u look at it! Click here for the songs that are

on the albums. Click here for some of thier logos i have found.Click here for the lyrics

Metallica' s first line up included Dave Mustaine, and Ron McGouvney. Ron was replaced by Cliff Burton. Dave is

now the singer for Megadeth, and Cliff, unfortunately, was killed in a tour bus

accident. He

was replaced by Jason Newsted. Dave was replaced by Kirk

Hammet. That is how Metallica got to where it is today, though many still ask

who was a better bassist, Cliff or Jason? I don't think it is fair to ask that

question, Who cares really, they are still a kick ass band!

I think everybody that likes Metallica should go by this motto :
I don't know, just a thought.

This is my first try at a web page so if u think it sux that's my excuse, as I

any of the images on this page and don't want any credit for them. In the future

I plan to add pics, midis and wav files. So check in every once and

a while and see how it changes.
