Nick is the greatest guy I've ever gone out with. We started going out on February 28, 1998 and will be celebrating our seven month anniversary the 28th of September. We met February 14, 1997, at a Valentine's Day party that his sister and a friend threw. He was the DJ. That was the first time I'd ever seen him, and from that point on, I had an interest in him. After that night I would often see him at the Snug Harbor Clubhouse playing basketball with his friends. Finally, on February 27, 1998 a guy threw a party, and we both happened to be there. That was the night we kissed for the first time. The next night, the same guy threw another party at his house and we both just happened to be there again, that was the night he asked me out. Ever since then my life has been heaven whenever's he's around. Before him, I never knew what it was like to be in love. I was even starting to feel weird because I was watching people all around me fall in love, and I was the only one who had never been in love before. It got to the point where my mother was starting to worry about me. Because of family problems with my step-dad, she was worried that because of those problems I wouldn't have the ability to fall in love with a guy. Before Nick, my relationships with guys never lasted more than a month. But then he fixed all that when he came into my life and made me fall in love with him.
Nick is 6'0", 160 Ibs, has dark brown hair, blue-yellow eyes, a smile that could turn a stone to mush, and is the one who holds my heart in his hands. His favorite color is blue, he is currently going to COA (College of the Albemarle)in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. He is going to school for his Associate's Degree in Computer Electronics, and he is also one of the sweetest guys on Earth. I love him so much, more than anything in this world. That's my main reason for dedicating this page to him. #1, because I love him, and #2, because I want everyone who visits this page to know just how much I love him, (notice which reason is #1).
I started writing poetry about April of '97. I had all of my poems on disk, but the disk was a "lemon" so it ended up getting erased and I lost all 31 of my poems. Luckily, a short time before the disk got erased, I had printed out copies of almost all of my poems and given them to a friend. So he told me he would send me the poems when he gets a chance. The poems that I do have in the Poet's Corner link are the ones that I typed before the disk was erased. They were all about someone. They all had things like to be with "you" forever, or when "we're" together and things like that. You see, these poems were written before I ever met Nick, and so I never knew who "you" was, I just wrote what was in my heart. Well, recently, (don't ask why so late) I started to think about it. And I came to the realization that all of the poems that I've ever written talking about love, and who I miss, and want to be with, are about him. He is the one that I have been writing about for so long... I just never knew it. I know it took me a while to realize it, but better late than never I suppose. Some of the poems are just about me, but the ones that talk about "you", well, I now know who "you" is, and I'm glad that I am able to say that it's him. So to Nick, I say "I love you baby, and I miss you very much!" And to you I say "I hope you enjoy my page!"
