Queerb Oi! George

Here is Gabe in all his old/reform school glory, I mean, i *could* have a picture of him in his full skinhead gear, but that would please him too much. Anyway Gabe and I have been friends (acquaintances?) since 8th grade, and as far as i know he's always been quite a rascally lad. I first knew him when he came to my school in 7th grade and started making friends with my at-the-time best friend. I was quite concerned about this newcomer stealing my friends, so I did what any sensible 7th grader would do. I got people to kneel behind him, and I would give him a shove. Although this may seem like a bad start, Gabe became so popular that I couldn't resist becoming friends with him. (It was his awesome clay mushrooms and Grateful-Dead-wear that eventually won me over.) Soon we were good pals, generally hanging out and burning things every weekend. But Gabe was an angry child, and his steel-toed boots and "People I Hate" list posted in his locker didn't get him anywhere but reform school.

So Gabe spent over two years in the God-forsaken Cascade reform school, which taught him to hide his emotions, wear nice clothes, and be overly pleasant to other people, no matter what the cost.

Today, Gabe is one of the most offensive and hateful people I know.

Although he may have had times at which he thought animals were important and drugs are bad, he has now learned the error of his former ways. Gabe has transformed from ska kid to skinhead, and I think that's a good thing. Gabe is one of the "new generation" of skinheads about town, and he does a good job parading his skin-ness.
