The Prodigy are four people from Braintree, Essex, who make awesome electronic music. The first single was from an EP, "What Evil Lurks", to some, it was an instant success. "What Evil Lurks" sold 7000 copies. The next song was "Charly" which definately caught the attention of many now-Prodigy fans. Different mixes were put out, and I've heard the Alley-Cat Mix is the best. After the fourth single, "Fire" was released, the Prodigy put out their first album, "The Prodigy Experience". 1993 saw the release of the second record, "Music for a Jilted Generation", which featured tracks with live guitar and flute. In March 1996, "Firestarter" was released. Fans were expectant of a new album, but one was never released. In November in the UK and April/June in the US and Canada, "Breathe" was released, and proved an instant success. On July 2, 1997, in Canada and the US, "The Fat of the Land" was released. On the nation's charts in America, "The Fat of the Land" debuted at #1. "Breathe" is steadily climbing up the Countdown on Canada's Muchmusic, and is #1 on my radio station's countdown(107.7 The End), and have been for about a month. The next single, or so I hear, is "Fuel my Fire."
