These are just a few quotes or facts that I have gotten from various magazines about *N Sync. If you know any cute or unusual things about the guys, feel free to send them in to me!



*N Sync:

¤ *N Sync's name and the group members' names are headed for space. They are engraved on a microchip with about 1 million other names which is star-bound on NASA's Stardust spacecraft, which took off February 6. It is scheduled to return to Earth in January 2006 after collecting dust from a comet 2 billion miles away.

¤ The group's wardobe assisstants are licensed masseuses. They give the guys scalp massages to help them relax before hitting the stage.

¤"You guys wanna get funky with 'NSYNC tonight?"

¤"We're single and ready to mingle!" -- Justin and Joey

¤"Our records are about life, love and partying." -- Chris "And sailing and backgammon!" -- Lance

¤"We just want to be successful all over the world. We really don't care about other things!" -- *N Sync

¤Justin, Lance, Joey and Chris all got tattoos of the *N Sync flame to symbolize their *N Sync status.

¤*N Sync was on their way to Germany just one day after signing their recording contract with RCA/BMG

¤"Everything I Own" was originally made a hit by a 70's folk group named Bread, and "Sailing" was originally written and preformed in the 80's by Christopher Cross.

¤*N Sync co-wrote "Giddy Up" with famed songwriter, Veit Renn.

¤"Riddle" is about a guy trying to figure out what a girl is thinking.

¤"More Than A Feeling" was originally a hard rock song by Boston.

¤*N Sync considers "Forever Young" one of their most personal songs because it is about their early days and all their hard work and persistence that went into getting discovered.

¤*N Sync has helped out with many charities: Students Working against Against Tobacco's "Truth Train", KIIS-FM's "Wango Tango" and the National Institute Of Health's "Kids to Kids" events.

¤*N Sync have just signed a contract with a clothing company and might even help in designing a line of *N Sync apparel.

¤All of the guys are big fan's of South park and can do dead-on impersonations of the characters.

¤Justin drives a Mercedes M Class, Chris has no car, Joey drives an Acura SLX, Lance has no car, either and JC drives a Jeep.
¤Before every show, the guys have a group hug and prayer. The also have to touch the official *N Sync hacky sac without letting it hit the floor. "If we hit the floor, it's bad luck." -- Joey

¤Their manager is Johnny Wright, who also manages for Solid Harmonie and formerly for the Backstreet Boys.

¤The last letters of the guys' names also form the name of their group:

¤Their song writers, Denniz Pop, Kristian Lundin, and Max Martin, have also done songs for people like 5ive, BSB, Robyn, Ace of Base, Solid Harmonie, and 3T.

¤*N Sync is featured in Tony Cottura's video for "Da Party Boom".

¤They each have individual lines in a song called "Children Need A Helping Hand" which was a special charity single and features other artists. It also hit number 1 in Germany.

¤*N Sync is actually good friends of BSB and have hung out with them on numerous occasions to talk about every day things.


Chris:

¤"And I suppose you don't smell either."

¤"Wait, wait, wait, wait...What concert was that? Third row? Is she the one with the head? Yea, I remember her!

¤"I don't know what to judge my football talent on. I guess in the group I'm one of the top five."

¤"I'm just going to ride one of the dogs. It's a little to dangerous I might hurt myself, like my face or something."

¤Chris has a dog named Busta which he brings on tour with him. It once left Justin a little "present" on his bunk in the tour bus. ¤His mom, Bev, actually gets asked for her autograph when she to *N Sync concerts.

¤Chris doesn't like a whole lot of toppings on his pizzas; he prefers cheese only.

¤His fave song on the *N Sync Christmas album, Home For Christmas, is "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays."

¤His shoe size is 7 1/2.

¤His favorite ice cream flavour is Ben and Jerry's Chubby Hubby.

¤Chris brings his laptop with him wherever he goes so he can write music and compose his thoughts.

¤Musical talent runs in the family: his great-grandmother, grandfather, cousin and aunt have all been in bands and his mom is now a vocal coach.

¤One of his first jobs was "shoveling sheep dung" on an Ohio farm.

¤Chris went to the same high school as Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough

¤His dad died when he was young and his mom remarried. He now has four younger half sisters.

JC:

¤He claims the reason he went to the Mickey Mouse Club auditions was because he saw an advertisemnt in the paper. He didn't feel like going to school and so went to the auditions in stead.

¤His diet often consists of lots of junk food and fast food.

¤His fave author is Nicholas Sparks, writer of "The Notebook" and "Message In A Bottle."

¤Mint chocolate chip is JC's favorite ice cream flavour.

¤He got the scar over his left eye when he and a friend pretended they were American Gladiators in the sixth grade.

¤Although he got the name Lansten from Justin, Lance claims he is rarely called this anymore.

¤Lance wnted to be an astronaut before joining the group

¤He has been accepted to the University of Nebraska and plans on one day getting a degree. Lance is considered the shyest member of the group.

¤Justin hasn't always been comfortable with his curly hair; he used to want to straighten it.

¤He claims he doesn't have any good luck charms because he doesn't need it.

¤Justin absolutely loves Caramello candy bars.

¤His shoe size is 12.

¤He like his pizza with plain pepperoni.

¤His favorite number is 28.

¤Accustomed to being an A-student, Justin was actually disappointed when he recieved his first B in middle school.

¤In middle school, he was president of his school's Beta Club and the student council.

¤Justin has broken the same thumb twice.

¤Justin had emergency surgery earlier in 1998 due to a blood clot in his throat. He was held overnight but everything went well and it's apparently very common among singers.


Joey:

¤When he was really young, Joey hit his head on a light switch. He now has a scar on his left eyebrow where he got stitches.

¤He absolutely loves mint chocolate chip ice cream.

¤He has a size 12 shoe.

¤A fan once gave him a watch with a glowing Superman logo and he wears it quite often on his wrist.

¤His tattoo is the Superman symbol and the *N Sync flame wraps around it like a band.

¤Joey likes pepperoni or just plain cheese pizza.
