James Lance Bass

I found this in the *N Sync and Friends, issue #1 We keep hearing that fans think this marvelous guy acts crazy, but hold on, not true! Lance is really highly intelligent, and he's got a miraculous voice. What's more, he's very charming. Maybe he's a little shy (the other guys from *N Sync call him "shy guy"), but that just makeshim more likeable. Lance, born May 7, 1979, in Laurel, Mississippi, fgured out his talent very early by playing his dad's piano. At the age of 11 he moved with his family to Clinton, where he became a singer with the "Mississippi Showstoppers." He later joined the famous competition choir "Attache." But touring with the choir didn't keep Lance from his idea to be an astronaut--infact he passedthe entrance examination at NASA. Then he met a guy named Justin, who had gotten Lance's name from his former vocal coach. Lance flew to Orlando, auditioned and space's loss was music's gain. Some more facts about Lance--he likes sports like in-line skating and weight lifting. His fave musicians are Boyz II Men and Garth Brooks, his fave TV shows are Mad About You and Friends. Lance is also an avid collector of everything with the "Tazmanian Devil" on it. Tons of thanks for not going off to space, Lance-- otherwise nobody could enjoy your incredible voice!
