Justin Randall Timberlake

I got this biography from the *N Sync and Friends magazine, #1 Justin was born January 31, 1981, in Memphis, Tennessee, and he sure is "cute." But he is not only a face, he's a brain and should be taken seriously. Justin loves to fool around, but he can also be very serious--sometimes even sad. He admits that he got homesick traveling aroundthe world, missing his family and friends back home in Orlando, Florida. Justin's mom, Lynn, accompanies *N Sync on tour and so she can perk up her son if he's in a down mood. Being the youngest member of *N Sync doesn't mean that Justin is a kid! He handles his job very professional and knows exactly what he wants. After moving from Memphis to Orlando, he started performing. At the ripe old age of seven he won a challenge by dancing like the New Kids On The Block. His mom figured out Justin's talent early and supported his career. He can play the piano as well as the guitar and he's got a private vocal coach. At 12, his talent landed Justin a spot at the famous Mickey Mouse Club, chosen from a crowd of 5,000 applicants! Justin became a popular member of the "Club" and made a new friends, Joshua, known as JC. After some months Justin and JC were well known all over the United States and they started composing songs--this was the very beginning of *N Sync! Justin is ambitious and hardworking. He worked at Disney while going to school every day and last spring [of 1998] graduated from high school. He looks forward to going to college. Meanwhile, basketball-loving Justin is spending what little spare time he has with his friends shooting hoops or in-line skating. Or he's listening to his fave soul and R&B music from Boyz II Men, Babyface or Blackstreet. Justin really loves performing and the feedback he gets from the audiences who are thrilled with his great voice and amazing dance performances. So please stop calling adorable Justin just "cute"!
