Ant videos cast list

Welcome to the video cast list. It is almost complete, with only Adam's three EMI videos missing. Most of the cast information was taken from the 1986 Hits video package.

Kings of the Wild Frontier

Additional info : This was the second video which Stephanie Gluck had produced for the band. The first video was the one which Adam used to encourage Malcolm McLaren to work with the band. When Adam asked CBS for money to produce a video, they declined, and therefore this video was made from Adam's own resources.

Additional info : The live version was filmed in Manchester in 1980. This is the version which appeared on the hits video in 1986. Many fans don't consider this to be a proper video, however, this was the 'official' video at the time, and it was used on many TV shows. Once again, CBS had refused to give Adam money for a video. Physical from the best of... video in 1993 comes from the same source. On the best of... video a clip from Top of the Pops is used - it contains the same line-up, but I do not know who the director was.

Additional info : This video was banned from BBC TV, and the single was banned from Radio One. It was considered to be too 'risque'! If this is the case, then why are videos by artists such as George Michael broadcast?! The single would surely have done well in the charts if it was given the airplay it deserved.
