Live Album Update

alt.music.clash December 2, 1998

Today the first song was mixed for the live album. It was "White Man In Hammersmith Palais, recorded in Boston 1982. Members of the group are mixing the record in London with Bill Price (you know the credits). The short list of shows taped on multi-track that are being considered include the Lyceum 12/78 or 1/79 (date here uncertain but from that stand anyway), Lewisham Odeon '80, Bonds New York '81, Boston '82 (two shows) and Shea Stadium '82. One idea for sequencing would have the songs in basic chronological order as they were originally released, rather than when the live performance took place. There will be no overdubs. Expect release in several months.
