I picked my 3 fave reviews but feel free to send your reviews to me.

Review #1- spicegirls@homemail.com

I'm not going to say something about each song, but I will say that Geri has really worked extra hard at this album, and it is not fair for people to compare the songs to Spice Girl songs. There will be always be songs that sound similar, even if it is not the Spice Girls or Geri Halliwell.

It is also not nice to know that American radio is not giving Geri a chance too much, as they did not play Spiceworld's singles too much.

Songs that stick in my mind are Look At Me (being the first single).

Bag It Up (just as good as Who Do You Think You Are, I cannot decide if I like that one better than the other. They are so good! Mtv plays Who Do You Think You Are in the background sometimes (RealWorld Hawaii Casting Special, 1998 Mtv VMA, and Say What Karoke) which shows the Spice Girls should of released it in the US).

Mi Chico Latino is also a soothing ballad that I would listen to when winding down.

All the other songs bring their own special something to the album. The media always have to find someway to pick at the album. They need lives FAST. I give Schizophonic 9 / 10 stars.

Review #2-Kate Clague

Geri Halliwell has just released her debut album...and it's huge. Geri sounds great, but she's a lot different from Ginger Spice. There's not one song in this album that you can say sounds like the Spice Girls.

The songs on 'Scizophonic' are all original, and each different from the next. So if you like surprises, then this is the album for you.

Let's talk about the songs.
Look at me is Geri's first single from the album. If you haven't heard it, where on earth have you been? It's a typical Geri song - wild, and full of attitude.

Lift me up has a somewhat gentler feeling towards it. It's soft, and something you can relax to. Geri's vocals are amazing in this song, and it's my personal favourite.

Walkaway is an uplifting balad. The orchestra in the back-ground are beautiful, not to mention Geri's voice. Another soothing record.

After two soft-ish songs, BAM! Mi Chico Latino hits you. It's very Geri - Spanish rapping, and a Spanish melody. The beat, the instruments, the voice...

Goodnight Kiss has a jazzy kind of feel to it. It's Geri telling you to treat her right...or all you'll get is a (goodnight) kiss! Cheeky!

Bag it up has a 70's disco feel to it. A great work-out song, or just to dance the night away to! It's a have fun, feel good song. Sometime begins with church organs playing, and a choir singing. A bit odd for Geri, but then again, this girl can do anything. When the choir and organ (with various other instruments) are mixed with a beat, it doesn't sound so bad after all.

Let me Love you...what can I say? Geri Halliwell has the most amazing voice I've ever heard! She begins with an Indian theme, but works her way to a dancey tune. Another fantastic song!

Someone's watching over me is the last soft tune on the album. It's got a very relaxing feel to it, and a great melody. Geri's voice proves to be super yet again.

You're in a bubble is the last song on the album. It's the finale - loud, and wild. Great harmony in the background!

Schizophonic has to be the best album I've heard for a while. Geri went away for a year - but this album was well worth the wait. I rate it 10/10 and if you haven't already bought the album, go now! There are many nember ones yet to come from this album. Congratulations to Geri on a *fantastic* album.

Hey! Well, Geri's back and has an album. My review is not SO critical like other people's, because I've heard to many bad things about Geri and I just want to bring a little bit of light to shine here. Here's myreview for each song:

Look At Me: When I first heard it, I was quite surprised... by how different it sounded from the everyday songs you hear on the radio. After listeningto it more, it became a very catchy, the background voices when she singsher chorus sounds very... keen. I think that the brass section was really nice touch. It shows a bit of her "diva" singing skills. Though I gotta admit, Geri doesn't show enough vibrato to give her voice a really good sound quality. Vibrato is the waviness of the sound of a voice whensung: ex. when Geri says "all" in "I see it all." But the good thing is that sometimes, that effect does slip out and it makes her voice really neat sounding. Like when she says "eyes" & "all."

Lift Me Up: I think the bird sounds are cute. In this song, again, the vibrato is needed lots, specially that this song's slower than "Look At Me." It seems like Geri is trying a big too hard to achieve the effect. This song's nice, it's very relaxing. What really caught my attention to this song is when she sings "No matter where we run..." I love that part. After that section, she sings the chorus a bit higher pitched than the other times. During that part, when she says "Up," it sounds like she's screaming yet sorta singing it, that note needed that keen effect forit to sound better :)

Mi Chico Latino: I love how it begins. It makes you think of being on some coast with palm trees with no air conditioning :D It's short yet sweet. I really like it and I don't have any problems with the song, though it could a bitfaster. No, it doesn't resemble "Spice Up Your Life..." much, just a tad, it's the beat. I don't like how she pronounces the "vida" it sounds like "vira" also the "pero" when she starts rapping in Spanish, it sounds like"perro."

Walk Away:This song is my favorite song of the album and it's also the slowest. Theway it starts, really RULES, it makes me think of a gigantic bubbleslowly popping in the night. I love the "ah"s in the beginning too, it gives it an angelic touch. This song sounds like it needs a lot vibrato, buther really cute voice replaces the need for it. And again, it slips on some parts like the "say" in "there's nothing left to say."

Goodnight Kiss: This is where you drink coffee or warm milk while reading a good bookand laying on a couch by a fireplace with someone or alone. That's what I would do when hearing this song, but I live in FL, so a fireplace is no need and I think I'm allergic to coffee, lol. Anyway, the sound quality of this song is very good!

Bag It Up: OK, this is where you put on some platform shoes, a funky costume and go to a club and just boogie down till you puke! This song (for me)almost equals to "Walk Away," favorite wise. This song does seem like "Who Do You Think You Are," but Ginger spice was the disco one, it seems like "WDYTYA" is a gingery song, so Geri was Ginger and that makes it OK,hope you got that, cos I sure didn't ;). Another thing about this song isthat it implies that men are all lady-esh and wussy-like... Woman Power! A song that's got feminism with a humor! I love it. Geri's husky voice does wonders for this song! Since this songs very danceable anddisco-ey, it doesn't need that effect that I've been yapping about too many times!

Let Me Love You: This song sounds like it should be placed at the credits at the end ofa movie. I have nothing against this song. It's quite nice. For instance, you could be reading a really neat teen or people magazine while laying on your made bed while drinking a soda or something refreshing on a very clear day and later you're thinking of going to the mall w/ some friends to buy some clothes or just chill... Woah! I have some imagination,no?

Sometime: It was a bit frightening at the beginning with the organ and the background voices sounding like a funeral :| but it changes to happy-go-lucky! It's good to listen, it doesn't just make you feel up-in-the-clouds all of the time, it's got that part with the screaming and tension that sorta feels like slapping :D It's a soothing song though. Someone's Watching Over Me: It's sorta like the "Mama" song in the album "Spice" but with sad lyrics. This song is about Geri's dad, who died a couple of years just before she became a Spice Girl. This song makes me take look at my parents and just think about them and it makes me wanna really get to know my them before they... you know. :(

You're In A Bubble: It really does seems like this song should be a B-side. In the beginning Geri says to not take life too seriously. This song's very hard to picture this song as a single, the sounds are very... very... the beat of it resembles like that song from the "Rugrats" movie, "Take Me There." Except this song Geri seems to diss a person's, calling them "You Bitc*." You can also picture yourself getting punched on the (*&$?! In the middle of the song she says "I'm only joking," so, don't take that "you bitc*" "rich bitc*" seriously. This song's semi-danceable... but I have no clue how the dance will look like. If you're naughty, you would like this song.
