INTERVIEW
WITH
BAM BAM

11/11/98

We want to start out by saying thank you for taking the time to do this Bam Bam. We know your busy with the upcoming album and stuff!

"yes I am"

So how does it feel being apart of such a talented group of musicians?

"Unreal, Jimmy Flemion, is one of the best songwriters I've ever worked with, and Richie is THE lead player of the 90's. Larry the Indian is without a doubt one of the most solid bass players i have ever worked with...and BAS...well I've been giving him vocal lessons...if he could just listen to me..."

Just like old times for you and Sebastian again?

"Yes...me and BAS have always talked about being together again...we were allways talking about rockin the world with me behind him and him out there kickin'it right in front of me...It's like it's correct now...we'll both be like 75 or something and still be bangin' our heads in Santa Barbara or Des Moines...I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

And we'll Still be there Rockin' With you!!
What was your reaction when Baz called you up and said he wanted to play again?

"I ran through the wall head first, then broadly smiled, and said 'Can I bring 4 suitcases instead of 3 on the bus?' "

What do you think of the bands progress thus far?

"I like it...It's exploding right now..."

How was the tour? Ready to go again?

"Long...Amazing...Sold out mostly...Ready anytime, diggin the chill while we're off though, that was quite a run."

How were the fans on the tour?

"The most amazing fuckin rockers I have ever been around. They were insane, cool, hangin out before, during, and after the show...then hangin' and partying with us after the show till we had to haul ass to the next show...I LOVE THEM ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!keep puffin'!!!!"

I read in an interview with Baz that you were in W.A.S.P. for about 10 seconds... Whats the story there?

"Blackie called and needed a drummer for a T.V. show in London called BBC "Top Of The Pops" for the soundtrack of Gremlins II, "Scream Until You Like It". It was cool, I got to meet Mick Jagger, and Steve Winwood...plus play live to 8 million viewers...Needless to say, I'm a very nice guy, so me and Blackie didn't really gel that well...
so I went home to have a real life...>"

What's the design on your drums?

"My sister did it. It is me with a "left" handed cigerette in my mouth, and I'm pointing a gun right at you, with the barrel of the gun being the hole that the microphone go's in. It looks totally 3D. Theres a big cityscape behind me. My sister did a real good job..."

What's your opinion on the new album, "BRING 'EM BACH AL IVE!"?

"WE FUCKIN' RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I love our performance in Tokyo...we were on fire"

Have you been on any other albums or demos?

"Yes, I'll fill you in some other time..."

Anything in closing you would like to say to the fans?

"I Love That You Love What We Do...PEACE"

 Thanks again for the time!

"No problem...Your Brother BAMBAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

 The Twisted Sisterzzz,

 Wildchild & Nae
