Jimmy's Wings
The first time Jimmy wore his six foot pair of wings on stage was June
3rd, 1983, where "The Frogs" were playing a show at "The Upper Deck" in
MN.
The first set of wings were made out of chicken wire, paper mache,
and leather belts, which ment Jimmy had hell getting to the stage with
the huge set of wings! Realizing the problems, the bands designer made
a new pair of wings that could be carried in a wadrobe bag. With this glorious
revelotion sprouted new coustumes each with a matching pair of "easy to
carry" wings, which included a set of each of the following: silver, gold,
tiger striped, and green.
note: Jimmy's first pair of wings were maroon.
(Thanks to Brian
T. Komar for help with the information!)
