If you think you’ve heard that name before, but just can’t pinpoint it, go back to theMen In Black soundtrack. Alicia sang and got partial writing credits for the song "Dah Dee Dah (Sexy Thing)." She was also on the Shaft soundtrack where she performed the track "Rock Wit U" with an almost mystical style that captivated her audience into the lost valley of real soul music.

Other credits include Jermaine Dupri’s holiday cd entitled "Jermaine Dupri Presents 12 Soulful Nights of Christmas." Alicia sang two tracks, "Christmas Without You" and "The Little Drummer Girl."

Currently, with her upcoming cd "Songs in A Minor" on the way to the record store shelves, Alicia is very excited, and she should be. Her sound can be described as very soulful. The music is a mixture of a lot of different sounds. Since she is a classically trained pianist, the cd has a classical tone to it. But her sound ranges from blues and jazz to R&B and hip-hop. It's a fusion of all those sounds and more.

Growing up, her musical influences were: Beethoven, Chopin, Donny Hathaway, Nina Simone, Biggie, Jay-Z, Tupac, Miles Davis and the list goes on all across the musical spectrum.

The first single from "Songs in A Minor" is a hot joint called "Fallin'" and everyone is trippin' because they can't believe they've been sleeping on the sister's talents.

Some may have heard the voice before but couldn't put a name to the music, so now Alicia is currently touring around so that people can put a face to the music.
