Unwritten Law is a punkish band (self-proclaimed 90's rock-n-roll) from Poway, California. They have three full length albums: Blue Room(1994), Oz Factor (1996), & Unwritten Law (1998). UL is a pretty damn awesome band, all of their songs sound different and they give off this really cool vibe.
There are currently 5 members in the band:
Scott Russo (Vocals)
Wade Youman (Drums)
Steve "Kid" Morris (Guitar)
Rob Brewer (Guitar)
Pat Kim (Bass)
There is somewhere along the line of 16 ex-band members. Scott, Wade, Steve, and Rob have been playing together for about 7 or 8 years. The only remaining original member is the one who started it all, Wade. Around the end of '97, Pat from Sprung Monkey joined UL. If you ever get the chance, go see UL live. It's a pretty damn, cool show, yea if you don't believe me go here.
UL is going to be doing a few shows for Warped Tour 2000. They are doing shows mostly towards the end of the tour. Go to www.warpedtour.com to see if they are playing near you.
Unwritten Law has a new Christmas song out called "Please Come Home For Christmas", it is really awesome. It was released on KROQ's Kevin and Bean's Last Christmas 1999 cd.

"Cailin" debuted on 120 mins a while ago, so keep an eye out for it. It is a pretty cool vid...you can also watch it from the offical UL site, but the quality isn't that great.

Check out the Warped Tour '98 video on Side 1 Records. About 45 minutes into the tape, there is a live performance of "Lonesome" in Europe by UL. It is a pretty funny tape, with a lot of good bands on it. Something worth watching.
