This is the first Counting Crows Album, August and Everything After. Rolling Stone Magazine gave it four stars and called it "...one of the best rock releases of the year." I agree. This is the Counting Crows sophomore album, Recovering the Satelittes. On this record, the music is rougher. There are guitar solos everywhere on this album, unlike the first where a guitar solo is hardly heard. But the lead singer, Adam Duritz, hasn't lost any of his artistic abilities when it came down to writing the lyrics. This is another album that everyone must have.
