More about Seaweed®

Me? You actually want to know more about MOI ? Alright, you don't
know what you're getting yourself into but you asked for it....

If someone asked me to describe myself in one sentence, I'd have to tell them
to go fly a kite. How can you possibly sum up a human being in one sentence? That's like taking
someone's pinky toe, cutting it off, putting it in a itty bitty box and throwing the rest away.

I believe that I am who I am today because of the events that have taken place in my
life and the people I've gotten the oppertunity to know. Everything happens for a reason and
just in the 21 years of my life....a LOT has happened. Dad always tells me it builds character
and if that's the case...I've got enough character to last this lifetime and the next! *L*

I have two wonderful parents who have stood by me thru think and thin. Even
when I do (lets just say for instance) drive half way across country, without telling a soul, and
run out of gas and money in Tulsa on the way home. *L* I also have an eighteen yr old
brother, Justin, who has caused mom and dad a few grey hairs on his own. =)

I love animals. I have a cat (Sassy), two guinea pigs (Slick and Picasso), a gecko (Louie),
and a sugar glider (Booger...Boo for short). I also have an aquarium that I just can't seem
to get right. I'm still working on it tho. And to think I'm not supposed to have animals in my
apartment. HA! Just goes to show that what one doesn't know, doesn't hurt them!

I'm still not sure what I want to be when I grow up. And believe me....I still have a LOT of
growing up to do before it's all said and done. Besides, I don't believe that one ever stops
"growing". Maybe physically but as a person...nope. It just doesn't happen that way. Currently I
have my CNA/CHHA license and work at the Renaissance in Sherman. It's an assisted
living center and I love my job there. It's like having about 30 extra grandparents.
(And you can always use a spare!) =)

I'm finally ready to tackle college at this point in my life and I'm going to need financial aide.
But what happens when I try to get financial aide? See, it's like this...if you aren't 24, married, a ward
of the court, or have kids you have to put your parents income on the financial aide form. Well, my
parents make too much money for me to qualify but I haven't lived with them since I was 18.
Next step: Talk to the financial aide counselor.
I go try to talk to them about the situation and explain to them that I haven't lived with my
parents in 3 years and the next thing out of his mouth? "It doesn't matter. If you didn't answer
yes to one of these four questions then your parents income is going to influence your
availability." I looked at him and said, "Fine. I'll just go get knocked up with the next guy I
meet just so I can go to school!" I started to walk out and he says, "But here's a
scholarship form you can fill out and we'll get back to you next week."
*ARGH!* I wanted to rip the guys head off! HELLO!!! I want to improve myself! I want to make
a better life for me! *GRR* So, I guess at this point, I'm just going to pay for a class or two a
semester until I can get financial aide.

Well, I guess that about sums it up.....

Huh?..........What's that?...............Oh................You want to know about my love life?

There's not much to tell. I'm still waiting, not too patiently mind you, but waiting on my Mr. Right.
I think he's on vacation at Tahiti or something. *L*
