fun facts

Did you know that another BSB is related to Brian??! Believe or not, Kevin Richardson is Brian's cousin!

Brian says he's attracted to girls' eyes. "Eyes are very appealing to me," he says, "I also like somebody who is interested in a career for themselves and can treat me like a normal person."

Brian may seem like a mega-macho-man, but he's afraid of heights!

Before he was a Backstreet Boy, he sang in church

His family is a very religious Baptist family

Brian's famous nickname, B-Rok, surprisingly doesn't come from basketball. It comes from the term, "Shoot the rock," and, of course, B for Brian.

Brian is surely the clown of the group! He loves humor like Mr. Bean and Jim Carrey.

He doesn't think one specific type of girl is perfect for him, he's mainly attracted to a pretty face and what really turns him on is a warm smile and a nice "hello."

When he was younger, he almost died. He had a hole in his cardiac heart valve. When he was 5 years old, he got an infection and because his heart was so weak, he almost passed away. In early 1998, he went in for surgery and a miracle saved him! In some concerts, he actually had to use an inhaler to get oxygen between songs.
