Music is a VERY big part of my life!
If I'm not playing CD's I've got a radio on
wherever I am. I haven't been to very many
concerts in my lifetime but I hope to change
that in the near future. I have however had
the chance to see SOME musical stars in concert
and was lucky enough in fact to meet a few!
This page will serve to commemorate these chance
meetings with the STARS as well as to keep a
diary of sorts of the concerts I've been to.
"Me and George Fox"
George Fox (Country music artist whose hits include
"Angelina", "Do The Math", and "I Give You My Word"
among others....) was in concert in our
city in December 1998 and made an appearance at Wal-Mart
to sing a few songs and sign autographs. I've been
a fan since he opened for Randy Travis in 1987
and finally got to meet him again. I must say
that George Fox is a VERY nice, friendly and devoted
musican who is attentive to his fans and also a very
down-to-Earth man. His stardom hasn't made him
lose touch with his fans which is an extremely
nice thing to see. Thank you George for being so
nice!.
"Forever Young (Rod Stewart tribute band)"
While working Security at Riverfest in Brockville a
few years back, I got to see Forever Young perform as
well as meet them backstage after the concert. The group
sings only Rod Stewart songs and their lead singer
looks, sings and even moves like Rod Stewart!
They truly do an EXCELLENT and very believable
performance. Here are two of my favourite photos.

Again while working at Riverfest, I got to meet
the VERY nice (and cute!) Ray Lyell (whose hits include
"Carry Me") along with his band members who were all
might I add a wonderful bunch of people who I feel
privileged to have met!

Killin' Time, an Up-and-Coming new country
band I met backstage at Riverfest.
I wonder where they are now? If anyone out there
knows, please drop me a line. :)
"BLVD"
BLVD opened for Glass Tiger in concert here in
our town and although I've met guitarist Randy,
I've decided to post this photo of their lead singer
instead.

In March, I'll be attending the Shania Twain concert
in Ottawa this March and in May, I will see my IDOL, Celine Dion
perform in Montreal!!!!!
