A Florida Home for Stuyvesant High School graduates
The South Florida Alumni Association of Stuyvesant High School, Inc. is a non-profit tax-exempt organization incorporated under the laws of Florida. Its membership is comprised of graduates of Stuyvesant High School in New York City who live or vacation in Florida. (Stuyvesant graduates with no Florida connections should check out the Stuyvesant High School Alumni Association, a separate organization, not directly affiliated with SFAASHS.) The purposes of the organization are to promote social and fraternal contacts among members, to support the school, to award scholarship stipends to Stuyvesant graduates who matriculate at colleges and universities in Florida, and to support efforts to improve the teaching of mathematics and science in Florida.
