Poetry I wrote for my beautiful wife. Check back often honey for more poems I have written for you.

There is no middle in my earthly desire for you, Gloria

Like the fate of Aragorn

Our love was destined before time was born

You are more fair than an elf

And I have you all to myself

Your love is like a ring of power

It gets me through the darkest hour

You are so beautiful there’s always a stirring in my loin

Yes I’m happy to see you. No that’s not Gimili Son of Gloin

I know your work is hard

Like assaulting the walls of Isengard

And life with me is a chore

Like trying to sneak into Mordor

Your boss can be a real fuck face

Worse than the whole Orc race

And your coworkers are without souls

I wish I could turn them into stone trolls

The clients are goblins

Causing you no end of problems

Your position there is sometimes unclear

Making you feel unappreciated like Farhamir

And what do I do all day?

A hobbit, I eat and play

Sometimes I don’t clean our little shire

Making our home look like a mire

I know my heartless actions cause you to scream and sob

You’re fit to be tied by Shelob

But know that your love I will always keep

It’s an unassailable Helm’s Deep

I know sometimes I’m no better than a Barrow Wight

But, Gloria, I do try to do right

Sometimes I fail and give into temptation

In the end, I will fight like Borhimir seeking redemption

As the arrow flies true from Legolas’ bow

I truly love what we sew

Together we are like Gandalf and Shadowfax

And sometimes a bit like Worf and Dax

I'm Sorry

There are things I can change
And there are things I can not change
I sometimes do not have the
Widsom
To tell the different.
But when I look in your eyes
Gloria
I can see the hurt
That I cause
And I know I must change
Everything
For you.

All I ask
Is every day
Answer this question
"Gloria, how can I make you happy?"
I may not ask it
But know my heart asks it
Everday
Marriage is more questions than
Answers
I need answers
I need you
My love
I love you

That Day We First Met

Me and the boys were whooping it up in the Blue Bar saloon
Iceman was on Korg and hitting a funky jazzy piano tune
At the back of the place, drinking with whats his face, sat your very own Chucky Poo
And then she came in, the love of my life
Gloria -- the woman I'd soon know as my sweet Boo Boo

That hot sweaty night, which was topping 92
She strolled in with such wonderful flare
I wanted to gently kiss her cheeks
I asked myself "should I even dare?"
Her expression was stern and grave
Yet I could already see myself living in her house
So I strolled up to the bar
And called for a drink in a voice no louder than a mouse
I hoped she could see the love on my face
My eyes tried to meet hers to give her a clue
But she didn't and walked off with her drink
I knew I had to try something more dangerous to win my sweet Boo Boo

There are some women that you follow not on the subway but with just your eyes
And they hold you in their bewitching spell
That was her and for her I fell
Her freshly permed hair covered most of her face, and she avoided my stare
But I could tell she was a woman who need a man to care
I got to figure a way to win her and wondered what to do
I turned around and there was Iceman asshole watching her too
Watching the woman I love -- Gloria my sweet Boo Boo!

Her eyes eventually started looking around the room
I was instantly thrown into a daze
Her eyes did not meet mine but that of Iceman's gaze!
Iceman asshole swaggered over to her with his drink!
There was no one at the Korg's stool
So I went moved across the room
And sat down at the Korg like some love-struck fool
In my red silk shirt that always turned me into a flirt
The beating of my heart made me sway
I clutched the keys with my shaking hands
My god, its been a while but man I could play!

I played fast but then my tempo changed
To a soft number you could hardly hear
She left Iceman asshole at the table and headed to the toilet to preen
Towards me she came, she was coming near
I must act or Iceman asshole would steal the woman I loved
A woman who I wanted to see naked or at least try
My guts were in knots by the very sight of my sweet Boo Boo
My heart raced I thought I was going to die
I must act or live a life of despair!
And that's when I acted to make my dream come true
I called out "hey, hey you!"

As she looked over, my hands burst over the Korg like a flood
My brain said "she's looking so play play!"
My face became red and my eyes engorged with blood
Thoughts came back of ex-gfs who had done me wrong
Heart break that stings like a Ferengi lash
Oh when we put lust before love, sweet love
And then my playing stopped with a crash!
I could see my loves eyes as they burned
In a most peculiar way
She was looking at my red silk shirt!
She was transfixed tho the music had stopped she continued to sway
My face was swallowed up by a marvelous grin
And I spoke to her in a voice full of calm
"I don't know you but I want you to know I love you and don't give a damn!"
"I'm not a freak... my words are straight"
"I've not been drinking too much... everything I say is true"
"Please please please please please be my sweet sweet boo boo!"

I ducked my head, expecting the slap and the lights to go out
Her thinking my love was just some lark
And then Iceman asshole screamed and he rushed up!
His back was stiff and his look was stark
He swung with fists of lead and I ducked my head
His punch landed but his aim was not true
We looked over to see Gloria clutching her breast
His blow landed squarely on my sweet Boo Boo!

A Poem Inspired By Watching The Sci Fi Network's Version Of Dune On Video Three Times Last Week While I Avoided Looking For Work And I Disappointed My Wife So I Hope This Makes Up (I'm not good with titles sorry)

Your love is like spice

But twice as nice

Your eyes are blue

Like a freman true

Your mind is sharp like a crysknife

I pledge you my life

My love for you is firm

Like the hard back of a sand worm

I love it when our waters mingle

Like a body shield you make my skin tingle

I don't need to drink the Water of Life

Because I have you as my wife

I know sometimes I make you mad

A force more terrible than Paul's jihad

But when you're gone away to Kansas head office you I miss

Each minute like an hourglass filled with all the sands of Arakis

Your Job Takes You Away From Me But I Love You Always

RAM is red
ROM is blue
Your beautiful face
Is like my CPU

Tho you work long days
And sometimes long into the night
From now on
I'm going to do what is right

You manage all kinds of network stuff
And things of which I don't have a clue
One thing I do know
IT stands for "I'm Thinking of you"

Gloria This Is Love

Gloria I love you
I love you like the morning dew
I love to look upon your beautiful face
I love that we have the same taste
Gloria I love how you dress
I love you because you're the best

Gloria this poem is about love
Gloria I love you like from above

For the Ensign of my Heart

Space -- the final frontier
Or is it?
Some things are so distant, so hard to reach
The final frontier
Only seems near

To boldy go where no man
Or no one
Has gone before
Love's quest without a plan
Is a trek harder than across Martian sand

Live long and prosper they say
A logical thought
But prosper without love?
How hard it is to make love stay?
How hard it is to make her love you that way?

If only it was easy to "make it so"
Your lovely smile is like a command
Your joy is my prime directive
You are more beautiful than Venusian snow
You are more lovely than even Ensign Ro

The will be no blues with Blue
(a poem for my future dog)

I will call you Blue
Hoping you will be true
You will be a sweet beagle pooch
Not to say my wife is not important
For she's the only one I want to smooch
But you will be man's best friend
My friend named Blue
Friends to the end
A doggy treat?
How about we dip that in my special gravy?
Wouldn't that be neat?
Raising you right
Dear friend blue
Is what I want to do
And prove to my wife
That I can do something right
Decide on something and not end it in a fight
Blue you will be so many things to me
A friend, as I say
A happy doggy
A beagle with a nice coat
Raised on dog foods I will specially prepare
To show you and my wife that I can care
About something more
Something greater
Blue
That's you!

1998

Do you remember 1998?
That year that was great.
We had such fun
Lying under the sun
Under the moons we knew joy
When I moved to kiss you you were so coy
