The Princess We Loved To Death!

She was considered a commoner, but actually was raised on a huge estate in a beautiful rural village just north of London, called Great Brington. The family home where she grew up was called Althorp. The whole affair seemed like a fairytale wedding but eventually became such a nightmare that Diana could tolerate no more. When she finally accepted the terms of the divorce and could live her life the way she wanted, life dealt her the most cruel blow. Diana's life was ended in a horrible car accident which occurred in a tunnel below the Place de l'Alma in Paris. She and the one who put a smile on her face, Dodi Al Fayed, were trying to escape the ever-present paparazzi. She would never see her beloved Willie and Harry again.

Diana's memory will live on through the many acts of kindness she displayed toward AIDS patients, battered women, cancer patients, and drug addicts. Her campaign against land mines in Bosnia will continue with even stronger support from her constituents. Laws will be set in place to try to protect other famous celebrities from the constant threat of those wanting to get that $1 million dollar photograph. Your life was like "a candle in the wind" but your flame will continue to burn in our hearts.
