~school cool in Doc Martens~
*
Docs, docs, docs! That's all I see nowadays! So many teens now own a pair, or possible some (like me), own a couple. Why is this shoe brand so popular? Why do we love them so much? I have asked a few normal teen girls this question and below is their answers! Maybe we can finally unreveal the truth :)
*
Renee.
"I love Docs so much because they're cool, in style, and still totally comfy -- what a bonus!"
*
Jaci.
"Docs are so cool because they're not some cheap, wears-out-easy line! They last for a long time, never go out of style, and come in the *best* designs!"
*
Carrie.
"They come in so many different styles, so there is a style for EVERYONE.
And they don't hurt your feet when you spend all day shopping!"

I'm so sorry! I hadn't realized that the form didn't work until someone brought it to my attention! If you had tried to submit a question, please do now! I promise you every question will be answered and the form will work :) On with the Q & A:
*
(((((((( click here to send in a beauty question! ))))))))

Q: My natural hair color is light brown. Last summer I decided to put "Sun In" in
my hair. Well it gave my hair blondish streaks. Well this summer I put some more
in it. But it turned my hair like redish/auburn. So my friends put lemon juice
in my hair and I got white and blond streaks on redish hair. Why is it doing
this and is it going to ruin my hair?
*
A: Wow! Talk about a changing your hair color a lot! Your hair is probably changing to such freaky colors because you have used so many hair-color changing products in it! This happened to my friend too, who used Sun In a lot. I believe it's just a hair reaction to so much of it in your hair. And then putting lemon juice in it might have made the problem worse. I think you may want to lay off hair products such as Sun In and lemon juice for a while till the freaky hair color you got wears off.

Now count up how many As, Bs, Cs, and Ds you have!
*
Mostly A :: Urban chick! You're in a downtown state of mind. You're in the mood to make a scene, go to a club, or hang at a city cafe with your friends. So your makeup look should lean toward hip and trendy. With a modern edge and citified style.
Mostly B :: Totally romantic! You're right in the mood for a romance. You're feeling feminine, and sensitively soft. You're looking for a make up style that has no hard edges. Soft, see-through pastel shades and watercolor palettes are what's right for you right now.
Mostly C :: Multi-demensional individual. You're a healthy mix of romantic sensibility, downtown attitude, style savvy and fresh, outdoorsy sense. You're in the mood for everything, and up for anything. Check 'em all out and find special make up looks for all the parts of your personality style.
Mostly D :: All Natural. You're in the mood to hit the trail, be in nature, relax in the great outdoors. Or just be you, without pretense or posing. You're not up to dressing up right now. So your makeup shouldn't look fancy or fussy. It should be fresh, easy and fast. A look that goes on light and natural.

~don't believe those hair lies!~
*
Those facts your parents may have told you about your hair may not be true! Amazingly, most of the lies below were things my parents told me were true! Read on below to find out what's fact, what's fiction.
*
lie: Shampooing tons dries out hair, since it trips it of its natural oil.
truth: Oil doesn't keep tresses in top condition -- moisturizing does! Since shampoo is mostly water, it's fine to suds up daily. Follow with a conditioner made for you hair type.
*
lie: Brushing locks like crazy makes them ultra-shiny.
truth: Overzealous brushing can break hair and even pull it out entirely. Use your brush as a styling aid only.
*
lie: You can repair split ends.
truth: Once your ends have split, the only solution is to trim them off. But certain products -- like ones that protect from blow-dryer and curling-iron damage -- can help prevent break-offs.
*
lie: Cutting hair makes it grow faster.
truth: Regular trims do get rid of split ends and give hair movement -- but boost its growing power? Sorry, afraid not. The only way to go long is by waiting it out.

~growing out your hair fixes~
*
Can't wait to grow out your hair and want it to look good while it's growing out? Check out the (below) hair fixes!
*
Growing out bangs: On a low setting, blow-dry them over to the side. Hair spray in place.
*
Going for longer hair: Pin up short pieces on the top and sides of your head with baby barrettes. Let the back hang loose.
*
Growing out layers: Apply texturizing cream like Artec Texturecreme to wet locks. Use fingers to lift hair from roots as you blow dry. Or push layers away from face with a stretchy, plastic headband.

TRENDS:
*
Andrea.
from: Washington.
For the Summer, cute little spagetti strap tank tops and shorts are really
popular. Also sandles without socks are a must.
**
Mary
from: Texas
This Summer, there were lot of new trends to be seen! One thing is *big* shoes. Any shoe or sandal you own...if it has a big platform...it's cool :) (reminds me of those freaky shoes the Spice Girls wear). Also, tanks or surfing-brand shirts (including board shorts) were common. And a lot of girls wore they shades with them 24/7.
*
Katee
from: Loisianna*
The styles here are like khaki shorts, strappy shirts, bikini tops and cut offs. You can  wear that not just to the pool but, to the mall, too. Casual dresses, tennis skirts, short denim shorts, and khaki colored shirts. I've seen lots of girls with pig tails and ponytails.
