South Bay SIGs

Book Club

Books we have read and discussed in the past include Galileo's Daughter by Dava Sobel and Bridget Jones' Diary by Helen Fielding.

Right now we're reading a classic -- Farenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury.

Contact Penny Stein for more information.

Movie/Theater

Every March the Movie SIG gathers for our annual Oscar(TM) Party! The rest of the year we see movies! We're open to pretty much anything, so if there's a movie you'd like to see with us, let us know!

Contact Teri Centner for more information.

Walking/Hiking

Of course, this is the group that lives for the Alzheimer's Memory Walk! Every holiday season, we walk through one of Torrance's best decorated residential areas. We also volunteer for beach cleanup during the Summer. Is anyone interested in a walking tour of the Fort Macarthur Museum in San Pedro?

Contact Annette Kissinger for more information.

Bridge

Contact Laura Somers for more information.

Crafts

Sometimes we have a workshop on a specific craft, sometimes we just get together to work on personal projects.  Our group's interests include scrapbooking, paper-making, cross stitch, and stamping to name a few!

Contact Diane Craig for more information.

Dance

Dorothy Rind says we should go Line Dancing! What do you think?
