Welcome to Lake Arrowhead!
We have 2 wonderful retreats for you to get away from the everyday rush of work and home, one is called the Aspen Cottage and the other is the Sierra Cottage. The Aspen Cottage has 3 Bedrooms plus a loft and 3 full baths - (Sleeps 6-8). The Sierra Cottage has 2 Bedrooms plus a loft/den and 1 full bath and a half bath - (Sleeps 4-6)
Lake Arrowhead is a beautiful 8,100-acre gated resort development in Cherokee County less than a one-hour drive north from Atlanta. It is nestled in the high foothills of the southern Appalachian Mountains along the Pine Log Mountain Crest. The lake is 540 acres and has a water depth of 80 feet. It is the largest privately owned, man made, lake in the state of Georgia.Lake Arrowhead has a championship golf course with the holes wandering along the lakefront and into the North Georgia foothills. A pro shop, driving range and putting green complement this awesome course. The Lake Arrowhead clubhouse is touted as the largest in Georgia. Water recreation includes swimming, boating, fishing (fish include bass, bream, and catfish), and water skiing. Other on-site recreation includes 2 pools (1 Olympic sized), 8 tennis courts, volleyball courts, hiking, and horseback riding.
Boat dockage is available at the on-site marina. All boat types are allowed on the lake. Also, restaurants, shopping and a movie theater are easily accessible.
