A Daydream and Moor

While on the moor I lay and wait
pondering my love’s steady gait.
My thoughts languish time away
All the morn’ and most the day.

Sky then moor then sky anew,
Rolling as he pushes through
my dainty bud and back again.
Time don’t taunt! Please give me him!

A daydream so real...I must attend
the drip now trickling down my chin.
I bit my lip in sheer delight
from untamed desires I could not fight.

Impatient for my tartan man,
My mind took over body and hands.
Now I linger, while caressing slow.
Oh what thoughts! How they fill my soul.
