shit told:

Niki & Jo played with Blood Sausages live and on the mini-lp "happy little bullshit boy". it's on wiija records. Tobi says: "Jo and Niki are in a secret drum and bass duo, but their identities are concealed so no one buys their records."
Niki also sang on a Tindersticks single

Chris played with Skinned Teen LIVE, only sometimes. according to Patrick: Chris was in a band called The Element of Crime (see below).
Chris also did some 7 inch cover art including the "Some Hearts Paid to Lie" double 7 inch which had Skinned Teen, Comet Gain & Linus and the cover for Driver UFO 7 inch "Space Our Sex Out" on Proteen records out of Harrisburg PA.
also: funny rumors-- Some say he d-jays in london, some say he writes an anon zine (a parlez-vous code fucker cont.?), and a certain Tobi also says he lives with an american wife and has a long beard. another says they live in NEW JERSEY.

Karen was in Phantom Pregnancies and they put out some 7 inches (see below); Hi-Jack (w/Rent Boy Assassin), and Special Child.
also: Karen apparently is in a secret band with Rachel E. from Comet Gain.

Jon is in Comet Gain and was in the bands I'm Being Good, Witchypoo and Almost Ringo. here & there & he's cute.

what else? unknown. other secret bands???

to be continued...

also about these records and their labels:

Sascha wrote me: I really like this page, but it should definetly get bigger or something...it would be cool if everyone who has something to share would send it in ((yeah to teddy1399@hotmail.com)) (interviews from fanzines, pictures, etc) cos it is really difficult to find stuff about H.B. today and everyone still seems to be crazy about them... Blood Sausage had the "happy little bullshit boy" 10" on wiiija, the "touching you in ways that don't feel comfortable" 7" on wiiija too and the "denis lavant" 7" on k records. Phantom Pregnancies had the "assassination city" lp and the split 7" w/ rent boy assassin on damaged goods, the "bostic surgery" 7" on the German punk label Incognito Rec., a split 7" with the Cinnamon Imperials on Honey Bear and the "special child" 7" on troubleman unlimited. Another Huggy Bear offshoot was The Element of Crime. Their 7" on Soul Static Sound is called "The things you do for love...". The songs were recorded on the same day as Skinned Teen's "karate hairdresser" 7" and the band members were Chris from Huggy Bea (singing), Layla from Skinned Teen (also singing), Jo from Huggy Bear and Dale from Blood Sausage/Bonnot Gang both on bass (not same time tho), Daryl from Sister George on drums and Andrew from Linus on guitar. Chris didn't play with Skinned Teen, he's just on the cover of their split cd w/ Raooul (the girls on that record cover aren't Skinned Teen themselves, but friends of the band, I think). He did the artwork for the "Some Hearts paid to lie" double-7"-compilation on Wiiija, featuring Pussycat Trash, Comet Gain, Linus and Skinned Teen. Jon is currently in I'm Being Good. They'll release their second LP soon (the first one never came out actually), and they have the "We have the balleeen" and "Hate sturdy Buildings" 7"s both on Infinite Chug (plus split 7"s with other bands, compilation racks and some side-projects)... Then there's Parlez-Vous Code Fucker, a fanzine Chris did, I think, some years ago... The first H.B. bass player was the drummer from Heavenly. That's at least what Niki said in 1994 in a German fanzine.
