I do always envy writers who can write well.Reading a good writing is a joy.Very few from my kind,engineers that is, do write other than their technical stuff.It was scary for me to start writing in  August,1997. I have the usual well-worn excuse-"I want to write but I don't have the time". The procrastination lasted for a good 20 years! Somehow,with the web,I braved myself to write and began to like and enjoy doing it until to-day.Hopefully,one fine day (this is another excuse of similar kind ) that I may write a book in 2002.I hope this will not take another 20 more years to get it done.If the same rules applies, then my first book will be out when I will be in my late 60's.

So far,I have written 52 weekly notebook from Aug. 1997 to Aug. 1998.The subjects covered from family matters to  regional affairs in the form of short essays.

At the same time,I also wrote cerita kedaikopi. It is still on and  contained simple daily matters and current events in the form of dialogue/notes/monologues.Looking back,I think I must move to the next genre,mixing the essay and the dialogue into some thing else.I honestly do not know what genre it is,but for the  sake of having a name,I shall it Cara-BiCara.The phrase 'cara bicara' comes from Kelantanese lingo.It is pronounced as 'kigho becagho' which I modified into Cara Bicara.Cara means menthod or approach.Bicara   relates to discussion, however it has other meanings as well.Let's see what comes out of it in the following months beginning from Oct.,1999.
