The Protected Child
This "unique" bronze is on permanant display in the lobby
of the Juvenile Welfare building St. Petersburg, FL..The original model of
the child's face was done in a water-based clay and then cast in wax. The
"Wings" or "Flames" (open to interpretation) were made directly in wax and
then melted out of a silicone mold and replaced with molten bronze. This
peice is approximately three feet tall and can never be duplicated.
