People new to type and typography often ask "Which font should I use for which project?" The most important thing to remember is typography exists to enhance the subject matter. It does not exist for typography's sake.

At first glance when viewing fonts within a family, many of them appear to be identical. Look closely at the capital G and the lower case a, e, and g. You will find distinct differences. Even the lower case d can vary greatly from font to font.

I have provided over 125 fonts as a reference for you. Samples of the fonts can be accessed by clicking on the name of the font style listed below. These fonts are not available for downloading, but are here to educate you about Typography and font choices to be made in your own documents. Some of my fonts have come with programs such as Freehand or Corel Draw. Other fonts have come from books about computer type and were included on a disk or CD. If I use a shareware font, I always pay for that right. Other fonts came with Clip Art Collections. Please do not ask me to give you my fonts. That would be a violation of copyright. As a photographer and artist I am very sensitive on this issue.
