I am a 27 year old woman, single, no kids, and I now work at a bank and at a restaurant.

Interests?  Let's See:
Music: Anything freestyle, dance, or house.  But that is not all.  I also love any classic rock (Aerosmith) and hard rock.  No, I do not like Thrash Metal or so-called "Gangsta" Rap.  I like to understand what I am listening to.
Volunteering: I can't wait to get back into the swing of things.  Right now, I have two jobs and little time for else.  But, I did hear about this new virtual volunteer.  I would love to try that, as well as volunteer to tutor english to non-english speaking residents.  Hey, you complain about the problem, and I would rather be part of the solution.
I also love nature, cultural (Latin,
Native American) events,
reading any book in English or Spanish, and new experiences!
Well, I just returned from a 12 day vacation in the Southwest.  If you want the entire dissertation, feel free to read my live journal.  But I can tell you it was the most wonderful experience.  I cannot wait to go back.  I mean, thinking about it, you will not remember working like a dog when you are 80 years old and boring your grandkids with stories.  You will remember the good times, so you might as well make more of them.  I hope to make another one for June 19-20th in Boston.  Well, we will see if money pays the way.
This is me after my friend's wedding.  I was a bridesmaid on my birthday of all days.  I did not mind; actually I needed the distraction from being reminded that I was 27 years old.  Gosh, I should be married and have a family, I guess, but why?  I can barely take care of myself.  No, I have no kids, if you wonder.
Simoriah's Links
Well, for almost a year now I have gone through a life changing event:  I have steadily lost weight.  (Click here to see progress.) So far, since July 13, 2003, I have lost 45 lbs.  I started at 263 officially and now am down to 217 according to a work scale.  I attest this to Weight Watchers.  True this has not been easy for me. I have had to get used to some unwanted attention from guys.  Also, this means that I had to start exercising and stop eating junk, which of course was a way of coping with stress (and how I got so heavy).  Still trying to find another outlet for my stress.  Oh well, nasty customers at the restaurant job will have to do for now.
