A Character's physical, mental, and psychic prowess is defined by their Stats - short for Statistics. The fourteen Stats are divided into two groups: physical and mental. Examples can be seen here.

The 'physical stats' are:

M (Movement)

M is used to determine a PC's 'rate of knots' at any time.
M is not the basis of any tests.

WS (Weapon skill)

WS is used to determine a PC's likelyhood of hitting a target in hand-to-hand combat.
WS is a percentage stat.

BS (Ballistic or Bow skill)

BS is used to determine a PC's likelyhood of hitting a target in ranged combat combat.
WS is a percentage stat.

S (Strength)

S determines the amount a PC can lift, endure, etc.
S is a 0-10 stat.

T (Toughness)

T determines the PC's ability to withstand damage.
T is a 0-10 stat.

W (Wounds)

W determines the amount of damage the PC's can suffer before receiving permenant damage.
W is not the basis of any tests.

I (Initiative)

I determines the speed of a PC's reactions.
I is a percentage stat.

A (Attacks)

A is used to determine the number of hand-to-hand attacks a PC may make per round (10 seconds).
A is not the basis of any tests.

Dex (Dexterity)

Dex determines the PC's nimbleness of touch and their ability to balance.
Dex is a percentage stat.

The 'mental stats' are:

Ld (Leadership)

Ld determines the PC's ability to demand respect and obedience.
Ld is a percentage stat.

Int (Intelligence)

Int determines the PC's ability to understand and remember things.
Int is a percentage stat.

Cl (Cool)

Cl determines the PC's ability to remain clear-headed under pressure and to fight panic.
Cl is a percentage stat.

WP (Will Power)

WP determines the PC's self control and is also a measure of a PCs ability to resist/force magical attacks.
WP is a percentage stat.

Fel (Fellowship)

Fel determines the PC's ability to sweet-talk people. Characters with a low Fel are gruff and antisocial, those with high Fels can charm the birds out of the trees.
Fel is a percentage stat and is modified by physical appearance.
