(Registered under Societies Registration Act of XXI 1860) SPEECH is the brainchild of Mr. Nafisul Hasan** an alumnus of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). Following words of Mr. Hasan summarize the motivation behind the formation of SPEECH: "Eradication of educational backwardness among the Muslim community is need of the hour. Had Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, the great educationist and reformer of our country not descended on earth, the Aligarians ( old boys of Aligarh Muslim University as they are fondly called) ,majority of whom are well placed with the grace of Almighty God, would not have come into being. It is now our duty to take the caravan of Sir Syed ahead. Sir Syed is not with us today but his life, works and ideology are. Sir Syed Dinners and family get together of AMU Alumni/ Old Boys Associations are alright but we shall be failing in our duty if we are not able to eliminate the dark clouds of educational backwardness hovering over Muslim community, if not immediately, then gradually. For a country to have strength, each of its communities should have strength. We should be identified with a society which is educationally sound and developed. Our country will progress when each and every community will attain progress .Hence It is our duty as a citizen, to make Muslim community educationally strong and thereby strengthen the great country India at par with other developed nations of the world. No more drawing rooms debates and big talks. Time is fleeting."
