Thank you for your interest in the Dolphin Awareness WebRing. We have two main missions by setting up this webring:
  1. To have Fun: Dolphins are great creatures capable of bringing enjoyment to all who encounter them. This applies to the virtual world as well as it does the real world. Therefore this ring will be a way to connect sites of varying interest and enjoyment who all share a common element; Dolphins.
  2. To Promote Dolphin Protection: Dolphins are magnificent creatures but in the end man controlls the largest single factor in their destiny. For this reason we owe it to them to understand them in an effort to protect them and guarantee their presence for future generations.

With that said, lets get on to telling you how your site can become a part of this ring. There are a few basic guidelines your site must adhere to in order to join this ring:

  1. It must be suitable for all ages
    For many people these days this comes without saying, but it's worthy of a note here to try and keep this ring enjoyable for all ages since the love of dolphins is never wasted on the young.
  2. It must be composed of mainly dolphin content
    We understand that that dolphins won't be your only interest in life so feel free to include other things as well on your pages. All that we ask it that you only join this ring if the page your are submitting contains mainly dolphin related topics.
  3. No Explicit Nudity
    We understand some "art" may show certain things, but there's a clear difference.
  4. This webring's manager reserves the right to deny any site from joining for any reason.
  5. We reserve the right to modify these rules at any time. If a rule change affects your membership, we will contact you directly. (I don't think this will ever be a problem, but it has to be in here anyway)

Cut and paste the HTML fragment into you webpage code. Don't forget to download your choice of graphics to your OWN SERVER and change the filenames in the code fragment to match.

STEP 3:

E-Mail the ringmaster at DolphinTailz@oocities.com. to let her know you have added the code to your page.

STEP 4:

Await an email from the ringmaster verifying your acceptance into the ring.
