Its architecture and plan suggest that it was probably built in the early Ayutthaya period
The main restoration work carried out in King Narai's reign. Besides edifices, there is still an important figure located here; a Reclining Buddha Image
made of brick and covered with mortar. After excavations, it ws presumed that the original image was without decoration. During restoration work in
1956, mortar was made for the whole image and the statue's head was decorated.
