Before you start reading the
contents of my page on the net, I want to share some insights
with you.
I must admit I am not well-versed
with the environment and its wonderful living creatures. I
started this homepage in 1995 because I believed that a
little deed goes a long way. Projects we had in school on
environmental issues caught my attention. As high-school
students, we did not know much on what we could do to help
preserve Our Planet! I do have interests in nature and enjoy
the gifts that Mother Nature has so generously given, but I
am not going to claim that I alone, with this page, can do
much to help save earth. That effort stems from you.
My objective of this 'lil
home on the net is not about having the most high-tech
designs or complicated structure. It's about sharing how I
feel about and what we can do for the environment. It is a
fight we will never lose if we put up a strong battle. I'm
not asking to start an army to protest or lobby, I'm just
going to share with you what we all can do at home, at work
or even on holiday. If all of us were to play that small bit
in this drama, wouldn't that small bit add up and make a
whole picture?
I really enjoyed building this
homepage and am hoping that I will be able to gain access to
more ideas and facts to display. My homepage has grown over
the years with little additions of my music and myself. This
page is meant to bring about awareness, if not, a little,
that we all have the same reponsibility in every part of the
earth. But this didn't stop me from adding a personal touch
to it. I would love it if you could all remember the
underlying objective of this page of mine.
WWF Malaysia has been around
for 26 years now but due to certain factors, we are not as
strong as the activists in the Western countries. Knowing how
difficult our plight is, why don't we give them something
less to worry about by doing our bit. Let them ,as a legal
entity, set up the fight for bigger issues that we know ,we
as individuals find difficult. Yet , let us render our
support behind them by being aware of what is going on.
Please....Please.....Save
water, Preserve energy, Save Paper.....sounds simple....it
really is.
