Supportive Care of the Legs:

Use of the boots that are specially made to hold  magnetic pads or gel packs are certainly the easiest way to go, but there are several other options which you can utilize. Polo wraps are an excellant choice to hold magnetics in place. They are wide, soft and come with velcro tabs for fastening.
Stall or standing wraps are exactly what their name implies. Stall wraps are quilts, and can be used to hold the magnetics in place while the horse is at rest or confined. The bio-ceramic mini quilt is an excellant replacement for the stall wraps and can be used in the same way, while delivering the benefits of far-infrared light energy.

If the horse owner is unfamiliar with various wraps and techniques for applying wraps, then I strongly suggest using the wraps and boots specially made to hold the magnetics. This substantially reduces the potential for injury to the ligaments and tendons of the horse by someone who is inexperienced in applying wraps or bandages.
