" A Nibble from a Distance"

I heard a Nibble in my ear,
the sweetest sort of sound.
He whispers far 'cross land and sea,
near me nowhere around.
And yet the friendship bridges
the distance and the mile,
He never fails to see the love,
and always brings a smile.
He is my friend, this gentle soul,
one I hold dear to heart.
My prayer for him in friendship bound,
to never be apart.
To stay the loving man he be,
to gather up the strength in Thee.
