Days of lore speak of times,
when the Dragon's breath was fierce, unkind.
When fear blimished the maiden face
And knights took on their mighty grace
To slew the beast of days gone by
With sword and stone and warrior's cry.
The days of lore are no more
Yet still some Dragons fly and soar
Tho' evil has been cast away
Within the heart of Dragons today
Their flight is made to spread the word
That Dragonhearts are pure and good
That fright is nought of their kindly ways
No burning stare will pass their gaze
upon the needful, the lonely nor meek
but to protect and love, friendship to seek.
Nurturing the fair and foe in ways of proud devotion
Holding on to values others lose in much commotion.
Ready to gallantly swoop away the tears and fears of all
searching only to give and care, no matter large or small.
