A Tribute to the Women in My Life

My homepage would not be complete
without paying tribute to the Women in my life. I come from
strong stock being only one small factor in a family of five
generations of women currently living.These are the women
that have touched my life in ways that will forever be
planted in the linings of my heart.They are my mentors,
regardless of age or relationship for they have given me
the essence of my existence.They have taught me more than
any teacher could have taught.They are my kindred spirits of
sisterhood
"Nanny"
My Grandmother
A lady of 95 young now, she remains the head of our
clan bringing forth her wit and wisdom. She is a majestic
lady who through the years has graced our family with her
Divine nature and nutured many of us through times of strife.
She is truly a remarkable woman, one that is looked upon by
all of our family with admiration and benevolence.I love you,
Nanny. May the Lord always have Angels on Earth such as you.
"Mother"
My Mother has been
a pillar of strength for this family. A woman that is not one
to fear any endeavor, regardless of the risks or heartbreaks
to herself, she has been our shelter in many a storm, a
loving Florence Nightingale that we daily thank for her love
and fortitude. May the Lord always keep warriors for our
souls through women like my Mother. She is a rare jewel among
the finest of womankind. I love you Mother.

My Second Mom
a truer Lady you will not find. A Christian light in the stars
above Texas, this fine woman has been a friend, a teacher
and a lovely member of my family. Not only do I admire this
woman, I consider her the essence of grace. I Love you, Jeanie

My oldest daughter
This young woman, I admittedly look upon with awe at times.
She brings to our family and those graced with her friendship
a warmth, gaiety and intelligence that is sorely missing in
many. A woman of diverse interests, with a old soul that
never ceases to be a marvel to those around her.A Spiritual
light that radiates around us in her presence. A mentor for
her sisters and her Mother. I am so proud of you,my love

A young woman, who
while confronted with adversities from the beginning, faces
life with fortitude and perserverance. A spirit child with
righteous intent in her every word, a fighter against the ill
ways of others, this young woman has a spirit that makes you
beam in her presence. A petite woman with a giant heart and
the mother of my first grandson(which of course, places her
on a pedestal in this grandmother's heart)A young woman to
look up to as she strives to bring goodness to all she meets.

"Shell"
My youngest, Shell
generates the true meaning of sweetiness.This young woman has
the ability to make the lowest of feelings soar to heights of
joy. Her loving tender nature and gentle spirit is the
sunrise in our family. When God created this little one, He
added extra sugar in her heart to be spread throughout the
world.There is never hesitation in her giving time and love
to any in need. She knows no stranger and values the happiness
of others, sometimes more than she values herself
Shell is our little Angel..I love you, baby girl.
"Pat"
My oldest sister
Pat is the peace-maker among us. I have seen this woman open
her home to many a stranger, nuturing the youth that graced
her door over many years.A lover of People, my sister has
a genuine giving love she shares with all. And as a gourmet
cook, she tantalizes the palates of us all at family
gatherings. And she put up with me biting all her boyfriends
when we were kids!! Hey Sissie, seen anyone with teethmarks
lately?..tee hee
"Jo"
My middle sister,
Jo, close in ages, we have spent many a youthful moment
trying to blame the other for our antics. She is a lady that
through sheer stubborness has battled more earthly wars than
most and yet maintains conviction that our world is still
a beautiful place. A lady of high family values that I admire
greatly.(but I still say "I did'nt do it, SHE did!!) Hugs Sis!
"Tanya"
The newest member of our
clan, although not quite a member yet. She has been a joyful
addition to our group, bringing an easy smile and gentle
dignity about her. One with a sensative, nurturing heart
and the mother of a beautiful little girl, *Court*, who has
stolen my heart. We are most pleased to add Tanya to our
sisterhood. We have already shared many a session of giggles
at the delight of her humor and wit. My heart fills with a
*Mom's* warmth when she *twitters* in like a delightful bird.
Welcome to our family, sweetie!
"My Valued Friends"
There are too many
of you to list for I have been very blessed by many sisters
that I consider my friends. You know in my heart how I feel
for each of you and value your trust, fellowship and love
It is in the glorification of our sisterhood and the
laughter,warmth and secrets we share that the true meaning
of the sisterhood is sought.
Bless each and every one of you for the love and laughter you
