too.......these are sites that I like........INSPIRING would be the
best way to describe this first group ........no, sorry, they
are not porn sites....*l*
 

*NASA* - probably one of the
BEST sights on the entire net......a MUST visit.......

*Desiderata*
- print this & put it some place where you can read it when you
need to feel better about yourself.....or, if you are in a cynical
mood, try the link at the bottom to Undesiderata....

*The Fray* - I love this
place......this is one of the few places I know of that showcases the
internet as an artform......you may leave your thoughts about each
topic......they always have something interesting...

*The Lamp of Hope Project* - an anti death penalty organization based in Texas......I suppose that being a Texan and being against the death penalty might seem to be an oxymoron to some, but not all of us are proud of our state's reputation as the death row capital of the United States.

Page* - This page hasn't been updated in ages......so, some of it
is a little old.....but it's still very clever &
funny.......

*The Rogue Market* -
Beware of this place........it can be very addictive........a
stockmarket where fame & fortune are the commodities.....

*Tests, tests,
tests...* - The title says it all......and these are really
interesting tests....much better than the ones in magazines that I
used to take.

*Free IQ Test* - recommend taking this twice.....the first time I thought it would take 5 minutes to do the test...... didn't realize that it would turn off automatically after 5 mins....*l*.......they email the results a few mins after you are finished.

*sixdegrees* - a new site devoted to the theory that we are all separated from each other by 6 people.......at first you could only go to 2 degrees, but now this site can take you six degrees and beyond......start building a list of contacts, you never know who you might meet; maybe I'll show up on your list one day...;)

*automatic complaint generator* - get an anon email addy & have tons of fun teasing your friends & pestering your enemies.....

*The AFU and Urban Legends Archive* - American folklore, old wive's tales and urban legends can be found here..........well, the TRUTH about these rumors, hoaxes and myths that many of us spread or wonder about can be found here........*l*...........a very interesting collection of information presented in a humorus & fun way.

Sometimes it seems as if the entire net is devoted to college kids, but believe it or not,  sites have been created for those of us who crammed for our last final years ago and are now out in that place known as 'The Real World' .....such a scary place......Here are some interesting work related sites.......fun &

Zone* - The fav of those of us who work for corporate
America......sometimes it's just too realistic.........:)

- This place is for the real Dilberts of the world.....it has a
tongue-in-cheek quality to it & and there is humor here.....but

rights.....

*Tripod* - probably best known
for their free web pages, this site also offers resume building &
job search services...
